Newly promoted English Premier League side Coventry City are close to announcing the signing of another Nigerian ahead of their campaign next season, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

In January, the team of Frank Lampard signed Nigeria international midfielder Frank Onyeka on loan from Brentford, and he was key in ensuring that they maintain their momentum which led to automatic promotion from the Championship as champions.

His deal was turned into a permanent one following their promotion, as it was part of the obligation inserted in the loan deal agreement with Brentford. Another Nigerian is now in the final stage of joining him at the club.
