United Arab Emirates side Hatta Sports Club has officially made an offer to sign fringe Nigeria international midfielder Ayobami Junior from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Shooting Stars, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Widely rated as one of the best midfielder in the league, he was rewarded by the head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle, with a spot in the Unity Cup friendly tournament.
He played as a late minute substitute in the 2-0 win over Zimbabwe in the semi final of the tournament, but didn’t play a minute in the 3-0 win over Jamaica in the final.
We can exclusively reveal that an offer came in from the Dubai based side for his services, which is currently under consideration from the team with a decision expected soon.
Reports say the 27 year old had trials with English Premier League side Brighton a few years ago but didn’t bag a deal.
