Nigeria international goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali isn’t sure of making the reported transfer to a team in Saudi Arabia according to what we exclusively gathered.
Nwabali was said to have received an offer from a team in Saudi Arabia to end his long search for a team since leaving Chippa United in January, after mutually terminating his contract.
That option was said to be the best financially for the 30 year old, but it appears it won’t be happening anymore with sources saying the interest has cooled down in recent weeks.
A source said the team has not followed up their interest as expected casting doubts on it happening. Although more than one team in Saudi Arabia are said to be interested in signing him.
Personally, Nwabali is eager to get back to playing but he isn’t willing to accept just any offer which has made the search a lot longer than expects. A source termed his stand as “stubborn”.
