Newly signed Zadok Yohanna has caught the eyes at English Premier League side Brighton as they step up their preparation for the start of a new season, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Signed immediately after the season ended from Swedish side AIK, the winger who recently turned 19 has gotten down to work immediately with the first team under the watchful eyes of coach Fabian Hürzeler.
He hasn’t looked out of place with the demands of the coach, and will likely start their first pre season game against French Ligue 2 side FC Annecy on the 25th of July.
Zadok has been told in clear terms that he will stay at the club at least for the first six months, but won’t be a regular with the aim of easing him into the demands of the English Premier League gradually.
His main rival for the right wing position is fellow African Yankuba Minteh, but there are suggestions that the 21 year old could be on the move in the coming years, with Zadok prime to take his spot in the team.
