
21 year old Nigerian midfielder Victor Eletu has left Italian giants AC Milan on a permanent transfer after seven years at the club, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Eletu joined the team at the age of 14 and progressed through the youth ranks, where he ended up making the squad of Nigeria to the U20 World Cup three years ago.
After failing to make his first team debut, the left footed ace has now taken his trade to two steps lower by joining Serie C side Pescara in search of professional experience.
Pescara are rebuilding and his signing is seen as one among the steps taken by the hierarchy of the club to to reposition the team for the challenges of next season.
An announcement is said to be imminent and he sign a three year deal with the option of another year after a routine medical.
