The future of Nigeria international striker Terem Moffi at French Ligue 1 side Nice is not at the club according to the sporting director of the team Roger Ricort, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Moffi spent the second half of last season on loan to Portuguese giants FC Porto after he was attacked by fans of the French side, but Porto passed on the chance of signing him permanently after a not too happy spell.
Now back at the club for pre season, Ricort met with his agents to inform them that he will never wear the Gym’s jersey again. He also hasn’t been invited to the wreath-laying ceremony at the Villa Massena this afternoon.
His representatives have already started the process of looking for a new destination for the 27 year old, and we gathered there are interest in him from teams in Spain, Germany and Italy.
It is the same for another Nigerian on their books in Kevin Carlos who joined the team in the summer transfer window a year ago. He was born in Spain to parents of Nigerian descent.
