Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle is still not satisfied with the addition of Al Ittihad forward George Ilenikhena to the attack of the team, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Chelle succeeded in making the 19 year old who moved from Ligue 1 giants to the Saudi Arabia outfit in January. The capture of Ilenikhena was seen by many as enough option to top striker Victor Osimhen.
However Chelle isn’t satisfy yet and has established contact with the representative of 18 year old Angers forward Peter Prosper per what we exclusively gathered.
Prosper scored five goals in 29 matches last season, which was his breakthrough year in the French top division after progressing through the youth ranks of the club.
Born in France to parents of Nigerian descent, he has represented France at U19 level with one goal to his name, but he still remain eligible to play for Nigeria at senior level and Chelle is keen on having him.
However he is currently walking his way back to full fitness after picking up a hamstring injury.
