Al Qadsiah of Saudi Arabia new winger Suleiman Sani has received provisional invitation to be a part of the senior national team of Nigeria for their upcoming AFCON qualifiers later this month, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
The 20 year old who is also on the list of players penciled down by head coach Eric Chelle for the U23 team was contacted by Chelle, and told of his inclusion in the list.
Sani’s move to the Saudi Arabia side was made official yesterday from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, where he spent just six months following his arrival from Slovakian side AS Trencin.
RB Leipzig rejected loan proposals for the winger from English Championship side West Ham and LaLiga side Espanyol, prioritising an outright sale to the Saudi side where he signed a three year deal with the option of another year.
Chelle will however make a decision on his inclusion in the final 30 man list for the games against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau respectively, or keep him with the U23s who are expected to be in camp in the next international break.
