Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has decided to go with a four man attack for today’s AFCON qualifiers game against Madagascar, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The team had three different sessions ahead of the game and the coach continually had his players play in a four man attack, including yesterday’s final training session.

Although he kept switching the players in the attack during the session, it’s however clear that Venezia forward Akor Adams will lead the team’s attack as replacement for top striker Victor Osimhen.

What’s still unclear is the trio that will play behind him with the coach experimenting with attacking players at his disposal for the sessions, especially when they did a tactical drill involving the forwards against the goalkeepers.

The idea is to hit the ground running in the qualifiers ahead of their second game in four days time away to Guinea-Bissau.
