Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has been put under special drills hinting at a possible chance of playing in tomorrow’s game against Guinea-Bissau, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Okoye arrived on matchday against Madagascar and missed the 2-1 win in Uyo. A game he was supposed to start but came late after participating in a commercial activity for his club Udinese.

Head coach Eric Chelle held talks with the 27 year old, and cleared the air over his conduct, and will likely give him a chance to start in Bissau judging by what we were told happened in yesterday’s training.

He was placed under intense drill by the goalkeeper’s coach unlike the other two who have been in camp since the start of preparations around a week ago.

If he doesn’t make an appearance against Guinea-Bissau he has to wait till the international window in November, as he is not listed in the squad for the friendly game against Russia on the 6th October.
