1xBet has invited journalists and content creators to cover the 1xCup 2026 final, scheduled for October 31 at the Inspire Sport Arena, Old Nitel Ground, Cappa, Oshodi, Lagos.

In a media invitation, the organisers said accreditation would be required in advance, with limited places available for journalists, photographers, bloggers, influencers and other media representatives.

“The number of accreditations is limited to ensure a comfortable working environment for all members of the press and content creators on site,” the statement said.

According to the organisers, accredited journalists will have pitch-side access for photography and filming of key match moments, alongside opportunities to interview players, coaches and winners after the final whistle.

Media representatives will also be able to interview 1xBet officials on the development of grassroots football and support for local communities, as well as cover the atmosphere in the stands, the fans and the awards ceremony.

Bloggers, TikTokers, YouTubers and Instagram creators have also been invited to the final. The organisers said they would receive behind-the-scenes access and photo opportunities with the teams and the trophy, and encouraged them to register through the same accreditation form, indicating their platform and audience.

Applicants are advised to register early through the media and influencer accreditation form.

The final will conclude a season that began in July under the motto “Your community, your cup”. The organisers said the competition has featured comebacks, stunning goals and surprising results, with the two remaining teams having overcome what they described as an extremely challenging journey.

Beyond the trophy, the statement said, the final offers players the chance to earn the respect of fans and attract the attention of scouts from professional football clubs.

First held in 2023, the tournament was established by 1xBet to support local football talent and encourage community participation in sport, according to the organisers. The competition has since grown to feature hundreds of players, dozens of teams and thousands of fans, the statement added.
