The AFCON 2027 qualifiers between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Taifa Stars of Tanzania will be one of the major game in the next round of games with Nigeria keen on picking maximum six points over two legs.
Super Eagles will host Tanzania in Uyo on the 13th of November, before travelling to keep a date with Tanzania on the 17th of November.
While the game is key to Nigeria’s chances of qualifying for the tournament, Tanzania are already through as one of the hosts of the tournament making the game inconsequential to them.
However they are also keen on picking all three points to boost their morale, and are leaving no stone unturned in that regard.
We can exclusively reveal that they have picked 2pm as kick off time for the game. A time where they expect the sun to be really hot and believe Nigeria with most of their players based in Europe not used to that kind of weather will struggle.
The time has been approved by CAF and it’s broadcasters, leaving Nigeria with the difficulty of preparing for the game with the weather in mind.
