German-Nigerian Hannover 96 Right Back Defy Orders From His Father, Commits International Future To Nigeria

Hannover 96 defence prospect Fabian Macaulay Senninger has revealed that he is ready to commit his international future to Nigeria instead of Germany.

Born in Germany to parents with Nigerian roots his international future has brought about a disagreement with his father, according to the Berlin born prospect.

20 year old Senninger made the declaration to opt for Nigeria during an interview on Nigeria Satellite Television Channels TV, where he also claimed that his father want him to play for Germany.

He however said he is willing to defy the orders from his father and play for Nigeria if he is called up by coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr.

Senninger only recently moved to Hannover 96 from the prestigious Nike Academy in England on a free transfer, and he is one of the regular players for the B team of the second division side who are campaigning in the Regional League North.

So far he has made 16 appearances with two goals to his name from his role as a full back or right winger in the team, as he continues to progress through the ranks ahead of a possible debut for the first team next year.

Former coach of the England U20s Stuart Pearce says Alex Oxlade Chamberlain run of inconsistent display for Arsenal was caused by the emergence of Alex Iwobi.

Pearce while speaking on rumours linking Chamberlain with a move to Liverpool on SkySports Premier League Watch urged the forward to stay and fight for his spot in the team.

Chamberlain is the most substituted Arsenal player in the last 18 months, and while Pearce acknowledged the fact that he has all rights to be unhappy, he also believes that Iwobi’s emergence has not helped the English man.

Obuh coached the Alanyaspor on loan defender during his formative years as a sixteen year old for the Nigeria U-17 that finished second at the World Youth Championship in 2009.

The coach believes he has grown in leaps and bounds since his days as a 17 year old with experience in three different leagues in addition to playing at the World Cup and Africa Cup of Nations.
