Highly respected Israeli agent David Ouziel, who is well known for his strong connection to Nigeria players has played down the hype surrounding Celtic 13 year old boy wonder Karamoko Dembele, who made his U-21 debut few weeks ago.

Ouziel, while paying respect to the talented teen insist that he has seen a lot of his type in Nigeria, in the numerous youth games he has watched whenever he visited the country.

The man who has transferred over nine young Nigerian players who are little known but well talented, insist that from what he has seen since he started working on transferring young Nigerian players. Nigeria has players onthe street, who are better than Dembele.

” I can’t seem to understand the rave behind Karamoko Dembele by the world, especially Nigerians. I have seen a lot of his type on the street in Nigeria, so kill the hype” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” He is good no doubt, but like I told a friend of mine, in Nigeria on the streets on bad playing pitches, not the type Dembele enjoys in Scotland, they are better players in Lagos, Abuja, Porthacourt, Warri, Kaduna, Kano etc.

” I challenge anybody who doubts me to follow me to Nigeria. Look my friend, I have spent time in the country and in Europe, so I know what am saying. They are millions of Dembele on the street in Nigeria, playing football with no boots or facility but yet doing well”.

Reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com has it that Tyronne Ebuehi might not honour the invitation to the Nigeria senior national team, due to issues bothering on documentation.

Ebuehi as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com is in the list of players, that the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has penciled down for the November 12 qualifiers against Algeria in Uyo.

The ADO Den Haag defender has made five league appearances this season with a goal to his name, in what is his third full season in the Eredivisie.

However the right full back, who was born and brought up in the Netherlands could miss out on the game as he is yet to be issued a Nigerian passport, by the authorities.

Although he qualifies to represent Nigeria through his parents, the 20 year old presently holds only a Dutch passport and by rules, he need to be in possession of a Nigerian passport for him to be eligible to play for the West Africans.

He was born and raised in Russia and has only once visited Nigeria in his life time, as report has it that he was in Owerri when he was about 3-6 year old.

Fans of Manchester City have sparked a war on twitter about their striking duo of Sergio Kun Aguero and Kelechi Iheanacho after their winless run extended to six games following a 0-1 loss to Manchester United.

Most of the fans complained about the Argentine not passing the ball to the Nigerian forward, particularly in their weekend 1-1 draw with Southampton, where Iheanacho scored the equaliser after coming on as a substitute.

Iheanacho who plays upfront for Manchester City alongside Aguero has an intimidating goal record of 21 goals from 48 appearances since making his debut for the team two season ago.

For all of the goals the Nigerian has scored for Manchester City only one has been supplied to him by Aguero, while Leroy Sane who joined the team few months ago, already has same amount of assist for the Nigerian.

According to reports gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com, former coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Philippe Troussier won the race to replace sacked Milovan Rajevac as coach of Algeria, after promising the FA that he will beat Nigeria.

Algeria fired Serbian coach Rajevac after drawing 1-1 at home in their first 2018 World Cup qualifiers tie. A result that made the players revolt and subsequently lead to the sack of the coach, just three months and three games into his tenure as coach.

Their next group game will be against Nigeria in just over three weeks, hence the FA resorted to appointing a coach who has experience of the African terrain in Troussier, who has handled Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, South Africa and Morocco, aside spells with various club sides on the continent.

Frenchman Troussier reportedly told representatives of the Algerian FA during interview for the job, that his knowledge of African football and Nigeria particularly will come handy in Uyo, when both sides meet on the 12th of November.

He reportedly promised the FA that he won’t lose the game to Nigeria, if appointed coach of the team. He also went a step further in boasting that his wealth of experience on the African continent will help Algeria beat Cameroon when they meet again.
