STOP PRESS: Kingsley Michael Of Monaco Is Different From Kingsley Michael Of Flying Eagles

0

Owngoalnigeria.com transfer expert Daniel Martins has reacted to a story on a Nigerian website which was written to discredit his exclusive story about the transfer of Nigerian teen prospect Kingsley Michael.

The said website erroneously cited Nigeria Under-20 midfielder Kingsley Michael, for the Flying Sports Academy of Jos winger who is already in France with the youth team of Monaco.

“I got a link to a story discrediting my exclusive of Kingsley Michael from a friend of mine, but from the heading I lost interest in it, as the Michael who is at Monaco is not same as Kingsley Michael” He told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” In my report, I never mentioned Flying Eagles, I clearly stated he is a winger who was spotted by scouts of Monaco during the annual Gee-Lec Academy scouting tournament in Jos.

“They only have similar names but they are in no way related, they are two different players, one is a midfielder, one at Monaco is a winger, while Michael of the Flying Eagles is predominantly a left footer, Michael who is now at Monaco is a left footer.

“The above differences were all highlighted in the report but I guess the writer didn’t go through it before issuing his counter report, which is filled with error and should be dismissed right from the headline”.
