Super Eagles coach designate Paul Le Guen will bring trusted long time assistant Yves Colleu with him when he takes over the coaching duties of the Nigeria senior national team.

However just like his immediate predecessors who were appointed alongside their favourite assistants he is set to come with a long time ally in Yves Colleu as his first assistant leaving the NFF with the option of employing an indigenous coach as second assistant.
Yves Colleu is a former French footballer who has been assistant manager to Paul Le Guen since 1998 and will reportedly take up his usual role behind the french man just like he did during their time together at Rennes,Lyon,Rangers,Paris Saint-Germain, Cameroon and most recently with Oman.
