23 days after Owngoalnigeria broke the news of Akeem Latifu’s contract termination with Ukrainian side FC Stal Dniprodzerzhynsk, the former Flying Eagles defender has sign a two year deal with Antalyaspor of Turkey.

Latifu will now defend the colours of the Turkish top flight team next season after joining as a free agent following his contract termination with PFC Stal.

26 year old Latifu used legal means to explore loopholes in the take over over FC Stal by PFC Stal new owners of the team to break free from his contract which has over a year to run.

It will be his second consecutive free transfer move in a space of six months as he only recently joined Stal from Norwegian side Aalesund as a free player as well.

Last season he made a total of six appearances for FC Stal picking up two bookings in the process after joining in February as a free agent from Aalesund of Norway where he spent three years.
