Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is preparing for their upcoming Community Shield clash against Arsenal without the services of high flying right-wing-back Victor Moses, owngoalnigeria.com can reveal after checks on the official website of the English FA.

Moses picked up a red card in their FA Cup 1-2 final loss to Arsenal, ‎which has ruled him out of the game which is the official curtain raiser for the new football season in England, and it’s scheduled to take place on the 6th of August at Wembley.

The fact that Moses is suspended for the game is part of the reason why coach Antonio Conte has been experimenting with Anglo-Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori as a right-wing-back in their pre season games.

Tomori distinguished himself as the right-wing-back in their 3-0 win over Arsenal, and also in the 2-3 loss to ‎Bayern Munich despite coming on as a substitute in both games played in China.

Although he is linked with a loan move away from Chelsea, Tomori is highly regarded by Conte and a strong showing if he gets to play in the Community Shield could see him remain at the club as back up to Moses in the right-wing-back role.
