The shirt manufacturers of the various national teams of Nigeria Nike have unveiled a new range of jerseys that the senior women team will unveil when the senior Women World Cup gets underway, OGN reports.

Nigeria will be taking part at the Women’s World Cup 2023 which will take place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20; first Women’s World Cup to feature 32 teams competing in eight groups.

Grouped alongside Australia, Republic of Ireland and Canada in group B, the Falcons will be wearing a new set of jerseys different from that of the men’s team with the design unveiled by Nike.

Nigeria will be appearing in their ninth World Cup but more than ever they are heading into the tournament with their worst run in a long time after failing to win any of their last six games. It has placed head coach Randy Waldrum under pressure.
