The board of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) will begin deliberations on the three men shortlisted for the vacant role of the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria, OwnGoalNigeria.comreports.

Names were recommended in order of who we see as first, second and third choice respectively, but whoever gets it will no doubt worth it and Nigerians will be happy with the choice”, he said.

Speaking further he said a role has been assigned to the current interim coach of the team Finidi George, who was an assistant to Peseiro. Even though the new coach is expected to pick his assistants he will however be compelled to retain the coach of Enyimba to act as the go between the new  technical crew and the players owing to his better understanding of the team.
