Granada of Spain forward Uche Agbo is in the camp of the Nigeria U-23 team who are presently preparing for an invitational tournament in South Korea, owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Agbo not on the list of invited professionals for the tournament was cited by our correspondent in training today as the deadline for invited professionals draw close.
He will be hoping his arrival earn him a spot in the team especially if the coach of the team maintain his stand on invited foreign players laid down after Monday’s training session.
Head coach of the team, Samson Siasia gave a deadline of today for all invited foreign professional to arrive camp or forget about the Suwon invitational tournament meant to prepare the team for the Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro later in the year.
However only Saturday Keigo reported early but team captain Azubuike Okechukwu beat the deadline and trained with the rest of the team this morning.
Azubuike’s arrival means they are now expecting the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi,Amuzie Stanley,Usman Mohammed,Sodiq Popoola,Nathan Oduwa and Saviour Godwin.
