MOBrazilian giants Flamengo have agreed a deal with Remo Stars the transfer of 19 year old Nigerian winger Shola Ogundana on a deal that will run till 2029 as we exclusively reported last month.

Signed on an initial one year loan deal after impressing scouts of the team at the Viareggio youth tournament, he did enough during his stay to earn a permanent deal.

According to RTI Esporte Agency, the total worth of the deal which handed the Brazilian side 70% of the player’s economic rights cost US$450,000 ( 8 Billion in Naira). If any party goes against the terms of the agreement a fine of €60,000 will be paid.

Yet to make his bow for the first team, it’s his performance for the B team, where he scored five goals and bagged four assists in 21 games that has earned him an extended stay at the club. His goals included one of the goals that handed them the Copa Libertadores da America title in the win over Argentinian side Boca Juniors.

A first team debut isn’t far off as he travelled with them for the game against Bolivar in the Copa Libertadores round of 16 game, but wasn’t handed his debut by coach Tite. However it doesn’t seems like he will wait too long for it.
