Chelle Singles Out One Super Eagles Player For Praise After 1-1 Draw Against Russia – He Did Really Well

0

Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has given his opinion on one of the players who played in the 1-1 draw against Russia yesterday, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Chelle’s unbeaten record as coach of the Super Eagles extended to five games yesterday when substitute Tolu Arokodare pounced on a mistake by the Russian goalkeeper to draw Nigeria level.

The coach handed a first start to Getafe forward Uche Chrisantus shortly after making his debut in the final game of the Unity Cup tournament, by coming on as a substitute in the 5-4 penalty kicks win over Jamaica after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

Yesterday he handed Krasnodar forward Kunle Olusegun his debut following his introduction as a substitute, and he praised the 23 year old, who was handed a late call up owing to the unavailability of some players invited for the game.

“He is very fast, he does not lose the ball. I am glad that he came to the team. He still needs to work on himself a lot, to learn a lot. Olusegun showed excellent results during the week of working with us. As for his game for Krasnodar, I think he needs to be more decisive to take the game more upon himself”, the coach said of the former Nigeria U17 star who won the league title in Russia.

Spin Smart: Expert Roulette Tips Every Player Should Know

0

Roulette is one of those classic casino games that’s simple to pick up but tricky to master. The thrill of watching the little ball bounce around the spinning wheel is hard to beat. But if you want to take your game beyond just hoping for luck, a few expert tips can make all the difference. Whether you’re a beginner or you’ve already dipped your toes into the roulette waters, learning some proven strategies can help you play smarter and enjoy the game more.

If you’re eager to play roulette with more confidence, understanding how the game works and knowing when to place your bets is key. Let’s break down some of the best tips to sharpen your roulette skills and help you make the most out of every spin.

Understand the Roulette Basics First

Before you start placing bets, get comfortable with the basic setup of roulette. The wheel has numbers from 1 to 36, alternating between red and black, plus the green zero (and sometimes double zero, depending on the version). The presence of zero is what gives the house its edge, but knowing the layout helps you choose your bets wisely.

There are two main versions to know: European Roulette with a single zero and American Roulette with both zero and double zero. The European wheel has a lower house edge (about 2.7%) compared to the American one (around 5.26%), so if you have the option, go for European. It’s simply friendlier to players in the long run.

Master the Different Bet Types

Roulette offers a wide variety of bets, and knowing these is essential if you want to spin smart.

  • Inside Bets: These are bets placed on specific numbers or small groups of numbers inside the betting grid. They include straight-up bets (on a single number), splits (between two numbers), streets (three numbers), and corners (four numbers). Inside bets usually have higher payouts but lower odds of winning.
  • Outside Bets: These cover larger groups of numbers outside the grid. Examples include betting on red or black, odd or even, and dozens or columns. These bets have better chances of winning but pay less.

Balancing inside and outside bets can be a good strategy depending on your risk appetite. Many experts recommend starting with outside bets to build your confidence, then adding some inside bets when you feel ready to take more chances.

Set a Clear Budget and Stick to It

One of the most important pieces of advice from roulette pros is managing your bankroll carefully. Decide upfront how much money you’re willing to spend on your roulette session and don’t go beyond that. This way, you avoid chasing losses or getting carried away by a lucky streak.

Keep your betting units small relative to your total bankroll. For example, if you have $100 to play with, consider betting $1 or $2 per spin. This helps your money last longer and gives you more opportunities to hit winning spins.

Remember, roulette is a game of chance, so staying disciplined with your budget is your best bet for keeping it fun.

Choose the Right Roulette Wheel

If you play roulette online or in a casino, always check which wheel version you’re using. As mentioned earlier, European roulette offers better odds than American roulette because it only has one zero.

Some online casinos also offer variations like French roulette, which adds special rules like “La Partage” or “En Prison.” These rules give you back half or all of your even-money bet if the ball lands on zero, reducing the house edge even further.

If you spot these variants, they’re worth a try because they can improve your chances over time.

Use Simple Betting Strategies

While no betting system can guarantee wins, some strategies help you manage your bets more efficiently. Here are a few popular ones:

  • Martingale: Double your bet after every loss so when you eventually win, you recover all losses plus a small profit. This strategy requires a solid bankroll and nerves of steel because losing streaks can get expensive quickly.
  • Fibonacci: Follow the famous Fibonacci sequence (1,1,2,3,5,8…) to decide your bet sizes. Increase your bet to the next number in the sequence after a loss and move back two steps after a win. It’s a slower progression than Martingale and a bit less risky.
  • D’Alembert: Increase your bet by one unit after a loss and decrease it by one unit after a win. It’s more balanced and easier to follow.

The key with any strategy is to set limits and know when to walk away. They can add structure to your betting but don’t fool yourself into thinking they beat the house edge.

Keep Your Emotions in Check

Roulette is exciting and fast-paced, which makes it easy to get caught up in the moment. The best players stay calm and don’t let emotions dictate their bets.

If you’re on a losing streak, don’t increase your bets out of frustration. If you’re winning, don’t get greedy and bet more than you planned. Sticking to your strategy and budget will pay off more in the long run than chasing wins or losses.

Think of roulette like a fun night out rather than a way to make quick money.

Practice Makes Perfect

It might sound obvious, but practicing roulette for free is one of the best ways to learn without risking real cash. Many online casinos offer demo versions of roulette where you can try out different bets and strategies.

Use this opportunity to understand how the bets pay out, how quickly the game moves, and how different strategies feel. This practice builds your confidence and lets you experiment with no pressure.

Watch the Table, Not the Wheel

Some players get tempted to track the wheel’s physical movement or guess where the ball will land. The truth is, each spin is independent and random, so no pattern can reliably predict the outcome.

Instead, focus on the table itself—how much you’ve bet, how many spins you’ve played, and how your bankroll is holding up. This approach helps you keep control and make better betting decisions.

Know When to Stop

Every expert agrees: knowing when to stop is crucial. Whether you’re winning or losing, set win goals and loss limits before you start playing.

If you hit your goal, consider cashing out and enjoying the profits. If you reach your loss limit, walk away to avoid bigger setbacks.

Setting these boundaries helps keep roulette fun and keeps your finances safe.

Choose Reliable Platforms

If you’re playing online, make sure to pick trustworthy casinos or betting sites. Check for proper licensing, good reviews, and secure payment options.

Playing on a reputable platform like Vegas Freedom gives you peace of mind that the game is fair and your funds are safe.

Final Thoughts

Roulette is a blend of luck and smart play. While no tip can guarantee a win every time, applying these expert strategies will help you spin smarter and enjoy the game without unnecessary risks.

Remember to learn the bets, manage your bankroll, keep emotions in check, and most importantly, have fun. Roulette is a game to enjoy, and playing it with a clear head makes all the difference.

If you’re ready to take your roulette game up a notch, start small, stick to your plan, and keep these tips handy for every spin.

Chelle Explains Super Eagles Conceding Identical Goals In Three Consecutive Games

0

Head coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle has explained the reason why his team has conceded identical goals in three consecutive games, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Nigeria forced host Russia to a 1-1 draw yesterday in a friendly game, but just like it was in the game against Ghana and Jamaica respectively the Nigerian team conceded a goal that came off a cross from the right.

Semi Ajayi turned the ball into his own net in an attempt to cut out a cross after right back Bright Osayi-Samuel was beaten by a run in behind. The goal is similar to the three goals conceded at the recently concluded Unity Cup in England.

Chelle was asked what could be responsible for the identical nature of the goals conceded in the last three games at the post match conference.

“The game was indeed difficult. We had a few moments, and the Russians did too. I think that two strong teams met. We will make changes, we will work on playing under pressure, because this problem has already arisen in the last three matches”, he explained.

“We need to learn to cope with the opponent’s pressing – this was especially noticeable in the second half, when we were practically left without the ball. This is thanks to the Russian footballers.”

Maduka Okoye – His best game in a Super Eagles shirt for a very long time. Made three very good saves to help Nigeria stay in the game. Couldn’t do anything about the goal…..8/10

Bruno Onyemaechi – Looked really uncomfortable under pressure and his tackling wasn’t the best. Usually calm and assured on the ball , he showed no such today……6/10

William Troost-Ekong – Beaten for pace thrice and didn’t help the team build up from the rear with his long passes. Another poor performance from the captain…..4/10

Semi Ajayi – Didn’t loose a single duel and covered up for Ekong when he was caught out with pace. His ability to play the ball from the back also helped the team in build up play…..7/10

Frank Onyeka – Ran the entire length of the pitch with his usual energy. A strong showing in the middle of the pack with the duo of Raphael Onyedika and Uche Chrisantus……7/10

Raphael Onyedika – Never worried when under pressure. Beat the Russian press with ease and made a good statement to be a regular in the team…..8/10

Fisayo Dele-Bashiru – An underwhelming performance not helped with the fact that he was stationed on the right. Didn’t look comfortable at all…..6/10

Moses Simon – A laboured performance but still manage to put in a shift especially in defense and helping the team press on the front foot……7/10

Victor Boniface – Once again didn’t help himself with another underwhelming performance. It’s hard to see how he will keep his spot in the team ahead of Cyriel Dessers……4/10

Substitutes:

Tolu Arokodare – A much better all around performance which he called with a goal. Capped it with a goal that was out of his awareness and determination to press……7/10

The unbeaten record of Eric Chelle as coach of the senior national team of Nigeria remains intact with substitute Tolu Arokodare scoring a vital leveller to help the team to a 1-1 draw against Russia in an international friendly game, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

In a friendly that is nothing but ceremonial as it is not recognized by FIFA with Russia currently under a ban from international football owing to their invasion of Ukraine.

Nigeria fell behind in the 27th minute when Semi Ajayi turned a ball into the net of Nigeria in an attempt to clear a cross. His awkward clearance left Maduka Okoye with no chance of making a save.

Arokodare pounced on a poor attempt by the goalkeeper of Russia to play out from the back by cutting out his pass, before toe poking his effort into an empty net. It ended up as the last goal of the game.

Like A Beast – Super Eagles Star Praise Attitude Of Boniface In Training Ahead Of Russia Friendly

0

Victor Boniface is keen on replicating his form for Bayer Leverkusen with the senior national team of Nigeria ahead of today’s friendly game against Russia, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

He has been roundly criticized for not matching his form for the German side with the senior national team of Nigeria, particularly during the qualifiers for the AFCON where the started in all of the games without scoring a goal.

That form saw him drop in the pecking order behind Genk forward Tolu Arokodare, who started ahead of him in the team’s last two games in the world cup qualifiers under new coach Eric Chelle.

Chelle was also left impressed by the performance of Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers in the two games of the Unity Cup by scoring in the 2-1 win over Ghana, and also providing an assist in the 2-2 draw against Jamaica which Nigeria went on to win 5-4 on penalty.

It appears the challenge provided by the above mentioned forwards has changed the mentality of Boniface for good according to one of his teammates.

” He ( Boniface) was the best player in our two training sessions. The manner which he chased everything down and also put his body on the line was good to see. Way better than who it was before. He trained like a beast. Maybe he is aware that he has to fight now after seeing what others in his position have done”, a player revealed.
