0

Head coach of the senior national team of Denmark Brian Riemer has been told to put a stop to any plans made by Newcastle United forward Willian Osula to switch his international future to Nigeria, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Osula has been linked with a potential switch of nationality to Nigeria, with reports in Denmark suggesting that talks have already taken place with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Although from what we exclusively gathered the report was heavily exaggerated, as no talk has happened with the NFF or the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Eric Chelle.

However Danish football analyst Emile Berggreen says the coach should do whatever it takes to ensure that the 22 year old, who has four goals in the English Premier League this season doesn’t consider the option.

“I am sure that Brian Riemer will handle the situation, we must not lose William Osula. Riemer is aware of the importance of a charm offensive.  If the call reveals that there is doubt in Osula’s mind, then Riemer is going to fish and chips in the Northeast of England.

“Of course, it’s about emphasizing how bright Denmark’s and Osula’s future looks if he pulls on the red and not the green jersey”, he said.
