“Having three or four days to recover isn’t important right now,” he asserted, preferring to emphasize the depth of his squad. “The strength of our team comes from the fact that any player is ready to play. I’m very happy with what all 17 players are producing,” he concluded.

At the end of the game , he snubbed the team’s post match celebration and subsequently left the dressing room earlier than anyone else still very angry from the situation that happened on the pitch.

Like we exclusively reported he has refused to apologize for his actions even after a meeting yesterday to sort the issue, which is threatening the team’s smooth sailing performance at the tournament.

” It’s unfair to say Chelle is afraid of dropping Osimhen from the team because there is no need for that, but if he is left with no option then he has to do it”, a backroom staff explained.

” What happened during the game against Mozambique is in the past and we have to keep our momentum going by seeing it as nothing extra. Osimhen and Lookman are among our best options in attack and we won’t be in a hurry to drop anyone for an act that has been addressed”, he concluded.
